In January, we’ve continued our emphasis during the 2023-2024 program year to “Elevate Their Community, Elevate Our City!” This year through the first 6 months, Elevate has provided:
- 4,786 1:1 and small group mentoring hours
- 12,852 Accredited Class mentoring
- 852 Sports and Adventure mentoring
- 1,228 College and Career mentoring hours
As part of our internal organizational evaluations, we realigned our program into two long-term life-changing pipelines. For the remainder of this program year at a minimum, our program team has been divided into an Eastside Pipeline and Northwest Pipeline. Through this strategic realignment, we will continue to build relationships with goals of achieving upward economic mobility for the students and families we serve.
Through this realignment, Mr. Jackson Gutierrez assumes the newly created position of Development Manager, focusing primarily on individual donor support and engagement. We are also pleased to announce the promotions of Mr. Braylon Myers as he assumes the position of Community Engagement Manager to provide a stronger bridge between our corporate and community partners and pipelines, while Mr. Josh Mendoza assumes expanded leadership in his newly created position, Eastside Pipeline Manager.
Additionally, we are pleased to announce the promotion of Ms. Tina Rhoden-Lewellyn into the role of Chief Operations Officer. With over 30 years of non-profit experience, Tina has continued to build a strong foundation of best practices in achieving impact and results at the foundation of our program and operations team.
These adjustments will allow us to continue our mission of building long-term, life-changing relationships with Indianapolis urban youth, equipping them to thrive and contribute to their community. We appreciate your continued support, and we look forward to finishing the 2023-2024 school year strong.
