ELEVATE INDY’S 2023 – 2024 PROGRAM THEME: “ELEVATE THEIR COMMUNITY, ELEVATE OUR CITY!”
Each new program year, we examine in what ways we can work to make the biggest impact and live out our mission of building long-term, life-changing relationships with Indianapolis urban youth, equipping them to thrive and contribute to their community.
During our discussions, we determine a program theme that we can rally behind all year long and share with the community as well. This year’s theme is “Elevate Their Community, Elevate Our City!” Our leadership developed this theme keeping in mind that we need to cultivate the next generation of diverse urban leaders – our current high school students, all with unlimited assets and potential – by expanding access, advancing equity, and fostering well-being.
BELIEVE IT OR NOT, SCHOOL STARTS BACK UP NEXT WEEK
As the new school year begins next week for our students, our team at Elevate Indy is filled with excitement and optimism for the students’ return to the classrooms at the schools. We’re also eager to meet new students that will be introduced to Elevate’s life-changing program.
We’re excited to be heading back to Arsenal Technical High School, George Washington High School and Purdue Polytechnic High School-Englewood. This year will also be special because we’ll be launching our newsiest pipeline at Shortridge High School this year!

In case you missed it, we released our Community Engagement Calendar earlier this week – filled with dates for upcoming 2023-2024 events. All events are opportunities for individuals, businesses and partner organizations to get involved by volunteering, sponsoring and attending.
