The new school year is officially underway, but our commitment to building strong, transformative relationships with our students continues well beyond the classroom! Planning for life after high school can seem overwhelming, but we’re here to guide our seniors every step of the way. This September, we had some incredible opportunities to help them prepare for future success, and we can’t wait to see what’s next! Let’s take a look back at some of the exciting events our senior class experienced this month.

College GO! Campaign: Empowering Our Seniors to Take the Next Step

We kicked off the month with College GO! Week, part of Indiana's statewide initiative aimed at helping students explore their post-high school options. This annual event aligns perfectly with Elevate’s mission to provide students with the tools they need to confidently plan for the future.

Our seniors had a blast at the College GO! Fair, where they researched different schools, met with college representatives, and started working on their applications. We know that applying to college can be intimidating, but College GO! Week helped make the process more manageable—and a lot more fun! A huge thank you to the College GO! Campaign for making this possible.

Announcing the Senior Initiative for the Class of 2025

Following College GO! Week, our Senior League Class of 2025 took another big step toward their futures with the launch of our brand-new Senior Initiative! This program encourages our seniors to stay on track by completing four of the following six goals:

The first 25 seniors to meet these goals by Friday, October 5th will qualify for a fall break senior trip to Atlanta! This exciting trip will include college visits, cultural experiences, mentoring, and even a stipend. We’re thrilled to see our seniors work hard to achieve these milestones as they set the foundation for their bright futures.

Arsenal Tech’s Early College Program Shines

In other college prep news, we’re proud to give a special shoutout to the team at Arsenal Tech High School. Earlier this month, they were recognized by the Urban College Acceleration Network for their dedication to college readiness through their Early College Program. The Elevate team is honored to work alongside Arsenal Tech as they help students explore their future options and take important steps toward their goals. Congratulations to Arsenal Tech for this well-deserved recognition!

We’re so proud of all that our seniors have accomplished this month and can’t wait to see what else is in store for them as they continue to prepare for life after high school!
