Often when we meet our Elevate students, they are not planning for their long-term future. I’ve heard from many students over the years, “I just want to live to see eighteen.”

This is the heartbreaking reality some believe. Due to the immense struggles these students are experiencing, they don’t believe they can allow themselves to dream of their future successes. This is why we are so passionate about building upon the limitless potential we see in our students.

With programs like Pathways to Purpose, we strive to provide a safe environment where students can prepare for the future and see themselves as capable and worthy of success.

In our upcoming annual report, we see that 60% of executives, directors, and managers stated that recent college grads are unprepared for the workforce. Additionally, we have seen a drastic decline in college enrollment over the last decade, particularly since the pandemic. Pathways to Purpose aims to change this by providing opportunities for students to explore paths for their future. Whether students are headed for college, career, or military, we offer them the tools they need to confidently pursue a purpose-driven path after graduation.

With Pathways to Purpose, we are dedicated to showing students what’s possible. Through vision trips, internships, and job shadowing, students gain invaluable exposure to the various paths available to them after high school. And, with our mentorship and soft skills training, we are ensuring that students are prepared to enter college, the military, or the workforce ready to succeed.

Thanks to the experiences and support of Elevate, we have seen huge leaps in student success rates. Over the last five years, we have seen an average of 99% of students graduate with their cohorts, and 80% achieve postsecondary placement.
