In 20+ years and over 800 episodes of CSI, one crucial piece of evidence appears in nearly every episode - fingerprints

Fingerprints are unique indicators of someone's presence in the world. And like fingerprints, our Lifeprints indicate our presence in someone else’s life.

Lifeprints are what we leave behind on those who mean the most to us after we’re gone - this could be our families, friends, causes we support, organizations, or communities with whom we engage.

But unlike fingerprints, we want to ensure that our Lifeprints won’t be wiped away. By taking thoughtful action, we can sustain our Lifeprints so they make an impact for years to come.

What are your Lifeprints?

Here are some thoughts to consider to help you discover your Lifeprints and how you can sustain them:

  1. Where have you invested your time, talent, and treasure? Reflect and discuss them with your family.
  2. Who are the people, causes, and communities you have impacted?
  3. Which people, causes, and communities have impacted your life?

Now that you've reflected on where you want to leave your Lifeprints, consider how you want to do it. What do you want to leave to empower not only your heirs, but the causes, communities, and organizations that you want to impact?

With the help of our Planned Giving team, there are several ways to sustain your Lifeprints by intentionally dedicating your legacy to the people and causes that matter most to you. If you're unsure of where to begin when planning how to sustain your Lifeprints, please consider reaching out to us here at Elevate Indianapolis. We are here to help you plan where and how you want them to remain in the lives of those who matter most to you.

A long-lasting Lifeprint begins with a simple conversation. Learn more about how you can sustain your Lifeprints through Legacy Planned Giving.
