Members of our Board bring their specific expertise, diverse experiences, and unique perspectives to their role as leaders of our organization. Together, they design strategy to accomplish our mission and recalibrate based on evaluation of outcomes for greatest impact.

Tracy Murphy currently serves as the Senior Director of Business Partnerships at EmployIndy,
providing leadership for a team of professionals in building relationships and supporting
businesses across the Indianapolis area. In this role, she serves an ambassador for EmployIndy
among the business community, cultivating relationships to better understand needs and
offering an array of opportunities through which EmployIndy can assist with building their talent
pipelines. Tracy is a detail-oriented project manager, excelling in identifying and advancing
strategic and collaborative partnerships and growing and managing relationships.
Tracy is also an experienced entrepreneur, utilizing her excellent client and project management
skills to plan, coordinate, and execute events and travel. Aligning with her passion for service,
she has also served at multiple nonprofits, coordinating fundraising campaigns, managing
relationships among donors and members, and volunteering her time in the community. Tracy is
a proud graduate of Purdue University.

Erik Augenbergs is a Partner at CLA, LLP with 20 years of professional experience in
Accounting and Finance. Within CLA’s Consulting and Outsourcing team of professionals, Erik
serves as the leader of the Client Accounting & Advisory Services (CAAS) practice for the state
of Indiana. Prior to his local leadership role, he led the CAAS practice for 5 years nationwide.
He works with business owners and client executive leadership to understand their strategic
priorities and actively engage in problem-solving. His client base spans from closely held
private companies to Fortune 100 companies. He began his career in Audit services with a
Big4 public accounting firm and subsequently held finance industry roles before joining CLA in
2012. Erik holds an active CPA license in the state of Indiana and earned his BS with dual
concentrations in Accounting and Finance at the Indiana University Kelley School of Business.
Erik is proud of his Latvian heritage, active in the Indiana and Michigan Latvian cultural
communities, and the son of a first-generation Latvian immigrant. He has two sons who are his
purpose and his passions include coaching their soccer teams, physical, and financial wellness.
Erik is a native Hoosier and lives on the northside of Indianapolis.

Brian analyzes financial projections, budgets, and overall feasibility for development projects, while working closely with
local communities to ensure long-term success. By combining his legal background with extensive knowledge of commercial
real estate, he brings strategic value to each project and leverages these skills to advance Prince Property Group’s mission
of transforming communities across the country.
Brian is the CEO of Prince Property Group, where he leads site selection and oversees all phases of development that
includes multifamily, commercial, and municipal projects nationwide, from entitlement and financing through construction
and lease-up. He has extensive experience structuring Public-Private Partnerships and is currently directing several
transformative urban infill projects. Prior to founding Prince Property Group, Brian served as Principal and Vice President of
Development at Flaherty & Collins Properties, where he led over $400 million in development
during his decade with the firm. His earlier roles with Ambrose Property Group and the Indiana Economic Development
Corporation (IEDC) provided him with deep expertise in development-related tax credits and economic incentive programs,
which continue to inform his strategic approach to complex real estate projects.
Brian is married with 4 children and enjoys coaching his kid’s teams and attending sporting events. In addition to this
Brian enjoys being a mentor and giving back.

Jed currently invests in, leads, & advises early-stage ventures while also seeking to foster better tomorrows in the communities where he and his family live, work, study, & play. Jed provides consulting services through Jed Kay Enterprises, LLC & advises and invests in multiple domains & geographies with a strong affinity for Indiana and Midwest companies in life sciences and other technology applications through Boomerang Studios, VisionTech Angels, & a variety of other ventures. Most recently, Jed served as VP Healthcare Strategy at MetaCX, he also led a variety of cross-functional teams at Eli Lilly & Co. including Global Customer Operations & as Lilly USA COO and Six Sigma Champion, where his teams were instrumental in transforming the go-to-market strategy and execution for pharmaceutical sales, marketing, & medical communications. Jed holds an MBA from Harvard University and a BS Mechanical Engineering from Purdue University. Outside of the professional arena, Jed leads Mudsock Youth Volleyball (Fishers) where he currently serves as President. Jed actively volunteers & supports Gleaner Food Bank. Prior community leadership and volunteer efforts have been heavily focused on education as Jed has been an active mentor and youth literacy volunteer through United Way’s Read-Up program & was the president or a member of the Friends Educational Fund from 2015 through the start of 2023. Jed & his wife have three children and live in Fishers, IN.

A Purdue University graduate, born and raised in Central Indiana, Steve Cosler is an Operating Partner of Water Street Healthcare Partners, LLC.
Steve has extensive experience in Healthcare and business, having served as President & CEO of Priority Healthcare and as an executive with CoreSource, Inc. & IBM Corporation. While living in Orlando, Florida 12 years ago, he Co-Founded and served as Board Chairman of Elevate Orlando, one of the first Elevate affiliates in the country. After moving back to Indiana, he founded Elevate Indianapolis and has served as Board Chair since that time. Steve and his wife Lynne are incredibly supportive to our students, staff, and Elevate community with their time and resources. Indianapolis Business Executive. Steve also served as the founding Chairman of the Board for Elevate Indianapolis from 2015-2022.

As Chief of Staff for the Indiana Economic Development Corporation, Vincent is charged with is charged with helping the IEDC grow the state economy, drive economic development, and help businesses launch, grow and locate in Indiana. He formerly served as Director of Indianapolis Economic Development at the Indy Chamber. A native of Indianapolis and a graduate of Arsenal Tech High School, Vincent is passionate about the city and economic development. Vincent graduated from IU Kelley School of Business with a bachelor’s in Finance. He loves staying involved with the community and serves on the board of Reconnecting to our Waterways and Indianapolis Park Foundation. As a resident of Speedway, in his free time, Vincent loves attending concerts, sporting events, and game nights with his wife Ashanti and two kids, daughter Noelle and son Grayson.

Since October 2023, Kraig Kinchen has served as the Executive Director of 100 Black Men of Indianapolis, which focuses on mentoring youth. Prior to his current role, Kraig enjoyed a 22-year career at Eli Lilly and Company. IN his last position at Lilly, Kraig served as Associate Vice President in the Value, Evidence, and Outcomes group focusing on diabetes. Kraig has been in other youth-serving activities through Center for Leadership Development and Covenant Community Church.

Jed is a proud graduate of Taylor University with his Bachelors in Accounting and Business Management and received his M.B.A from Ball State University- Miller School of Business in 2021.
In his role at Cherry Bekaert, he advises and supports the development and execution of comprehensive IPO strategies for companies preparing to go public, ensuring alignment with corporate goals and regulatory requirements. Additionally, he provides in-depth technical accounting guidance on complex transactions and financial events, ensuring accurate reporting and compliance with US GAAP, IFRS, and SEC regulations. In this expanding leadership he collaborates with executive leadership, finance teams, and external advisors to prepare detailed financial statements and disclosures required for IPO filings.
Jed is bilingual in both English and Korean and lives in the Northside with his wife, enjoying coaching girls lacrosse at Westfield High School.

Brandon Powell, a lifelong resident of Indianapolis, is a seasoned entrepreneur in the areas of business formation and execution. He builds companies from idea to fruition and strives to make them a financial success for all parties involved. He is currently the Vice President of Business Development for Chatham Park Development.

Berthran is an entrepreneur at heart and enjoys building and scaling businesses. He is currently the CEO of Bloomstone Investment Group, an investment holding company dedicated to driving growth and innovation across a portfolio of companies. Before Bloomstone, he spent over fifteen years in various business development and advisory roles, helping business owners and executives achieve their goals. His experience advising companies enables him to better serve his clients’ needs, who are primarily corporate executives, business owners, entrepreneurs, non-profits, and athletes. Berthran is an accomplished leader both in his role in wealth management and in the community. As vice-chair of the board of directors for the International Marketplace Coalition (IMC), he has committed his time and efforts to help the IMC strategize and raise funds to expand its programmatic work. He actively works to advocate for the African community in Indiana and promotes the growing Africa-Indiana trade, as the founder and president of the African Council of Indiana. He is passionate about community development and, in addition to dedicating his time and skills, he is committed to collaboration and incorporating diverse viewpoints to realizing objectives. His commitment to community development initiatives is a testament to his belief that all people should have access to information and resources to live better lives.

In his role at The Indianapolis Foundation leadership responsibilities include developing authentic relationships with community and local organizations to be a bridge to philanthropy. Fabio’s deep commitment to his work and community is anchored by his love for others, centered in authentic relationships, driven by community empowerment, and guided by his principles of servant leadership. As a first generation student, Fabio understands the importance of mentorship and the transformational impact believing in a student can have. For this reason he spends his volunteer efforts supporting initiatives and organizations working to address barriers impacting marginalized communities as well as investing in the next generation of leaders. He is a co-founder of the Axis Leadership program, serves on the board of The Indiana Latino Expo, and is a youth group leader at his local church.
Fabio is a graduate of Ben Davis High School and an alumni of IUPUI. He received his Bachelor’s in Psychology and his Masters in Public Affairs from the O’Neill School of Public and Environmental Affairs. In his spare time he enjoys playing soccer, spending time with his friends, going for a walk downtown, and watching a good marvel movie.

Mrs. Lough is Director of Operations at Indy Urban Advisors, where she oversees real estate, staging, and property management teams. With a background in urban ministry and a degree from Moody Bible Institute, she's spent years investing in youth and families on Indy's near eastside—both professionally and personally. Ashley is passionate about strong communities, education, and foster care. She lives with her husband Jon and their three kids—Myla, Cohen, and Keegan—and loves time at the park, her parents' lake house, or just relaxing with a good book or TV series. She's excited to support Elevate's mission and help more youth reach their full potential.

Ms. Abbott is VP of Human Resources at Amsted Rail, with a career focused on helping manufacturing and operations teams grow through strong people strategies. She brings deep expertise in talent, engagement, and labor relations, with past roles at Diamond Chain, Rexnord, and Carrier. She's active in her community, volunteers with Indiana's HIRE program, and previously served on the IMPD Use of Force Review Board. She has a degree from IU's Kelley School of Business and executive training from Chicago Booth, Michigan, and Berkeley. She lives on Indy's near eastside, has three kids and loves basketball, running, reading, and exploring downtown.
